Dr. Abby Snyder

DVM CCRT cVMA

Dr. Snyder is the owner and founder of the Animal Rehabilitation Center. After pursuing acupuncture certification in 2012 she opened Kansas City’s first and only free standing facility for animal rehabilitation in December 2014. Dr. Snyder obtained CCRT certification and has been providing acupuncture and comprehensive rehabilitation care while continuing to work part time as a veterinarian at Grandview Animal Hospital. With a special interest in geriatric medicine Dr. Snyder aims to improve mobility in older pets by addressing all aspects of their care and comfort. Nearly every patient in our care requires creative and well tolerated pain management protocols, a challenge Dr. Snyder willingly takes on. Dr. Snyder and her husband Ryan are so very proud of their two tall and creative children, Harper, a student-athlete at Colgate University, and Owen who excels at golf and debate.

Kristen Eagle

Rehabilitation Assistant

Kristen graduated from the University of Missouri in 2019 with her bachelor’s in health science with an emphasis in athletic training. After working as an athletic trainer for 4 years she decided to combine her two favorite things: dogs & rehabilitation. Kristen loves the new challenge of applying her current knowledge of physiology and rehabilitation to her four legged friends. In her off time you can find her hanging out with her husband, little brother, mom, & of course her son Shadow, who’s an American Staffordshire Terrier/Mastiff mix.

Jill Clark

DVM CCRP

Dr. Clark graduated from the University of Missouri in 2005 and began as an equine practitioner, focusing on medicine and endoscopy. The transition from equine practice to canine rehabilitation is unique but has been fulfilling personally and professionally. Dr. Clark obtained CCRP certification in 2018 and has been our lead rehabilitation veterinarian at ARC, involved in all steps of the process. She has a special interest in the postoperative orthopedic and neurologic patients and especially enjoys how this style of practice cultivates a strong pet-owner-veterinarian bond. Dr. Clark and her family live on a small farm with horses, cows and a Golden Retriever Lucy.

Linda Oberrider

Rehabilitation Assistant

Linda Oberrieder earned her canine and equine sports massage therapist certification from Equissage in Round Hill, VA, in 2019. In her spare time, you’ll find Linda either training on her bicycle to ride a century or walking Holly.
